This is my second LoRan magnet board. I gave my first way to a friend who is enjoying it thinking that I could make a do with a flimsy magnet board. I was so wrong. I love using a paper pattern and I cannot imagine keeping track of a complicated pattern without the use of the board and linear marking magnets to place around my pattern. My mother originally introduced me to the board as she used one for her knitting patterns. I will never be without one again. A brilliant tool for cross stitcher.

My daughter saw someone in her knitting group use it. She suggested that I might like it for counted cross stitch. It really is great. Helps to locate where you are on the pattern. Wish I knew about this before.

They’re making these boards better. The edges aren’t as sharp as their older ones, and these boards are sturdier. I have enjoyed using them with the magnets to mark my patterns as I stitch. I plan on ordering enough to have one for each project bag.

The LoRan Magnet Board is perfect for holding my cross stitch patterns. I actually have 2 now since I often have 2 projects going at once. The magnetic strips hold the patterns down and the board slips very easily into my project bag without the pattern folding.
