Stitched on 28 Ct. Country French Cafe Mocha linen using DMC, Classic Colorworks & Gentle Art. Stitch count: 117W x 90H. Design Size: 9" x 7"

Model stitched on 28 Ct. Lambswool Linen with DMC floss, and Classic Colorworks. Stitch Count: 77W x 77H. Design Size: 6" x 6" Shown in The Family Tree Frame: June, Finish: Fleamarket, Color: Icing. Size: 7x7.

Note from designer "I have known since I started this Cottage series that my Summer design, the third in the series, would be based on beach cottages. The pretty blues and turquoises make me think of the Gulf of Mexico and the bright coral colors are the perfect contrast!"

Pattern is stitched on 40 ct Barb's Blend by R&R Reproductions using DMC floss. Stitch count is 87 x 95 .

Model stitched two over two on 30 Ct. Linen using Classic Colorworks and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Farm House Design is 75H x 75W. Sampler Size is: 5" x 5 2/3". If the entire series is stitched on one piece, the stitch count is 387W x 261H. Finished size is: 26 6/8" x 17 1/2".

Note: to achieve the variegated look of Fool's Gold use DMC 833/371.

Fall Cottages brings us to the last Cottage in this series and uses the warm browns and golds of late autumn, when the bright colors are almost gone. The squirrels are racing to fill up their bellies and nests with acorns and other goodies to help them get through the winter.
