While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

Have a couple Halloween themed Mill Hill kits and added this one to my collection. They are quick and are great projects after or during a larger more complicated cross stitch.

For a very small project, this design has a lot of detail. The beautiful colors make that detail stand out. I really enjoyed stitching this project & was "bewitched" when it all came together upon completion! LOVE the way it turned out!

This is one of the cutest kits I’ve done! I was worried that the tiny little witch wouldn’t look as good as the photo but it did! It’s just precious! Beautiful, bright colors. I made for my daughter and she is over the moon about it (pun intended)! I love it so much I’m going to have to make one for myself.

I bought several Halloween ornament kits by Mill Hill and love all of them! The Bewitching Pumpkin is my favorite. It was the tiniest witch I have ever stitched, but oh so cute! The kits are great to work with. I'm looking forward to finishing up the rest of the kits.

Very few beads were charted into this design which was a big disappointment for me! I buy Mill Hill kits because of the beautiful beads and this kit fell short.
