from United States on 08/19/2020 - Genoa Santa I had a really hard time distinguishing the different colors-golds and yellows -but basically pleased with the finished product. I really enjoy the way The pattern is laid out
from United States on 07/12/2016 - Genoa Santa Redo I love the Mill Hill Cross Stitch Santa Collection. I make several of these Santas each year and send to family and friends. However, I make several changes to make mine unique. First I don't use any beads, but substitute other colors for the beaded rows. I often change the colors with each Santa. In my latest version of the Genoa Santa, I substituted dark greens for the browns and used light gray for the flag pole. I eliminated the rocks and foliage from around the feet and legs. I also outline my Santas with black stitching and stitch a plain piece of perforated paper to the back using a running stitch.
