Three black cats are out for a midnight stroll in this Mill Hill beaded kit.

Kit Includes: Beads, JABC button, perforated paper/pvc, floss, needles, chart and instructions. Finished Size: 5" x 5".

While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:

1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.

2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.

3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.

All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

This kit is so fun to make and beautiful when completed. I was intimidated by the beading, but it was much easier than I thought and added such a cool dimension to the piece. I already purchased more Mill Hill kits.

These Mill Hill kits are the cutest. Perfect size for a weekend project. Beads and embellishments add just the right amount of sparkle to each finish. Can't wait to stitch this for Halloween. Shipping was faster than expected to Australia, and very well packaged. I have bought from this shop over the past few years, and always have had great service.
