An Australian Santa Claus is standing with two kangaroos! Kit Includes: Beads, 14 Ct. perforated paper/pvc, needles, floss, chart and instructions. Size: 2.75" x 4.5"
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

This Mill Hill kit is wonderful. It is amazing how Mill Hill can make their animals look like the real thing.
All inclusive kits have easy to follow patterns and I have never run out of any thread for any I have ever done.

I have been stitching these Santa kits every year for many years. I have over 125 different ones made. I am always amazed at how they come up with different ideas every year. They are very enjoyable to work on.

Haven’t t starts it yet but so cute. 123 stitch is a great place to order from and things that are on back order do come it and they send it out. They have such a great selection of item. A one stop place from patterns, kits, material and threads. My go to for counted cross stitch.
