The houses are made with 5" charm squares, and each house uses 2 1/4 squares. Some parts match, some don't! Each house block finishes at 5" x 6 1/2". There are eleven rows of 12 randomly spaced houses and some of the houses have chimneys.

The name comes from "It takes a village" because it took the combined talents of at least 16 people to make this all work - the 12 designers whose fabric collections were used to create the original!

The finished project size is 69" x 75 1/2".
