When asked to do an Autumn-themed design for Homespun Australia, I immediately thought of the cool breezes of the season, and of beautiful autumn leaves spinning in the air. I added some running hares enjoying the day and a grand tree with changing colors standing tall above. I hope stitching this reminds you of these windy, colourful days.
Stitched 2 over 2 using full crosses and a few Smyrna crosses. Black-and-white chart with a color cover. DMC conversion provided. Pattern is stitched on 32-count 'Russian Caramel' by Number12StitchCo using Cottage Garden Threads. Stitch count is 105w x 56h. Finished size is 6.56" x 3.5".
