I had been struggling to keep my cross stitch fabric taut in a larger hoop, so I sprung for this and I'm so glad I did! I haven't had to adjust it once after I put it together. This hoop is wider and heavier than a typical bamboo or plastic hoop, but it's so satisfying not to have my fabric loosen up. It's worth every penny.

This is a great product. It is well designed and made. I use mine in making baskets, so need a very substantial plastic. This hoop has just that. I only wish you had them in a 14" size.
