I am making it three different times, in the three different ribbon colors, to commemorate the three different cancers that have severely affected my family and friends.
Memorial Day was established on May 30, 1868 following the Civil War to honor fallen soldiers. It later evolved after World War I to honor all American military service members who died in war.
