"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference, living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardships as the pathway to peace, taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it, trusting that he will make all things right if I surrender to his will, that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with Him forever in the next."

from United States on 02/03/2025 - Wonderful piece! I hadn’t realized that the serenity prayer was this long. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to stitch it for our church, which hosts several 12-step groups. I used a gridded
fabric to make it easier, and while I did all the text in black, I a little of each red, blue, green, and yellow, and it turned out beautiful! I just have to figure out how to mount it now. 😉

from United States on 02/10/2018 - Beautiful Piece I started looking for a piece with this prayer to make for my son when I learned it was the official prayer of AA. I never knew there was more to it than the first few lines and when I read the entire prayer, it literally brought tears to my eyes and I had to make it! This will be gorgeous when done! As always, 123 Stitch provided first class service... quick delivery and in perfect condition!
from United States on 09/14/2017 - I love this! I bought this to make for my mother. It is her favorite prayer. My eyes are not what they used to be, so I am working it on Aida 14 count. I was able to find a precut piece 30x36 at a local craft store. I am only on the third line, but it looks great! I have plans to buy several more My Big Toe patterns when I finish this one.
from United States on 08/25/2017 - Serenity Prayer Pattern I'm looking forward to working this beautiful piece. Really appreciate the prayer in it's entirety!
