This is the latest in what I refer to as my "repeating motif" series. The same motif is stitched over and over, but, with a planned placement of colors within those motifs, an image of cherry blossom trees on a spring day emerges.

Model was stitched on 14 count 3-block by 4-block White Novara throw with 3 strands of Anchor floss, and 2 strands of Threadworx and Weeks Dye Works floss. DMC equivalents provided. Stitch count: 95 x 95 for each block. Complete design size is 285 x 380 stitches.
Model stitched over 2 threads on 20 Ct. White Lugana with 4 Strands of DMC floss for cross stitch and 3 for backstitching. Approximate size is 44 1/2" x 53". There are 30 squares, each with a stitch count of 90 x 89. Design uses DMC 6 strand and Color variations floss as well as Kreinik and Kreinik #4 Braid. Total stitch count is 446 x 530.
