These are very easy to thread. I did find them to be difficult when working in an all black background. I couldn't see where the needle was coming up from the back.

They glide through the fabric so smoothly; they're a joy to stitch with! And although I don't have an allergy to nickel, I think it's wonderful that these gorgeous needles are nickel free.

I've been working on a cross stitch project recently using one of my older needles (which actually aren't very old at all), but these Pony needles I ordered recently arrived and I decided to try one of those instead. Oh my goodness! What a difference these needles make! I don't think I've ever owned new needles that are this smooth and easy to use. I don't think I'll ever go back to any others. These are a dream! Highly recommend!
