This design is an homage to one of my all time favorite books. Charming farmhouses, a quaint schoolhouse, red clay roads, a beautiful lake, and of course blooming orchards all around make this the perfect home for everyone's favorite Anne....don't forget the "e".

The most distinctive feature of this Queen Anne is the large corner octagonal tower. Located in Port Townsend, Washington. Main colors are terra cotta and green. Model stitched on 14 ct Antique white fabric using DMC floss. Stitch count 155x135.
The December House is stitched on 28 count Wichelt Country French Cafe Linen with DMC floss and The Gentle Arts Sampler Threads. The stitch count is 120 wide by 45 high. The sample stitch piece was finished as a crafty framed piece using fabric from my stash, ribbon, a couple of buttons and a raw wood frame from my local craft and hobby store. Finished size is 8.57 in wide X 3.21 in high.
