In my recent thrifting adventures, I came across a lovely, partially finished cross stitch tablecloth. The floral patterns and designs on this beautiful piece became the inspiration for these two designs. I love the vibrant colors of the centerpiece and the charming arrangement of the bouquet.
The model was stitched over 2 threads on 18ct. Pistachio Aida by Fiber On A Whim, with DMC floss. Stitch Count: 109w x 139h. Finished size is 5.94 in wide X 7.72 in high.

Model stitched over two on 30 Ct. Linen by Weeks Dye Works using Weeks Dye Works floss, Dinky Dyes Silk Ribbon 4mm Pearl (not available), and Weeks Dye Works Wool 1111 Fawn (not available). Fabric cut 9x13.
Model stitched on 40 count "Flagstone" linen from Lakeside linen using Weeks Dye Works, Classic Colorworks and DMC threads. The model is trimmed with "Robin's Egg" chenille an backed with "Blue Corn" velveteen from Lady Dot Creates. Stitch Count: 209W x 66H.

Cross stitch pattern from By The Bay Needleart featuring a beautiful vase of flowers, like one that would be placed in the center of a dining table. Fits great in a 4" x 6" frame! Goes well with the "Colonial in Bloom" pattern by the same designer.
