These have been the best for me. I stitch in hand with the sewing method and these seem to be a little longer than other brands. The eyes are are good size too. (My other favorite are the ball-point tip needles by Sullivan.)

These used to be impossible to find outside of Southern California, and a friend who lives there kept me stocked. I am so thankful to now be able to buy them readily from 123stitch! Theyre made in Japan with the skill and attention paid to the manufacture of fine surgical implements, and cost less these days than Bohins.

I read about these needles on a blog. I had no idea needles were different. I was astounded how pleasant they are to use. They glide through the fabric and just feel nice to hold. Love them!

Recently I have been having trouble with needles cutting my thread at the eye because of burrs. These needles are the best, I have not had any problems and they are strong. I would recommend these to anyone. I have several different sizes.
