The size of the tip fits perfectly in my chart squares to highlight cross stitches completed and they are soft enough to not tear my charts. Believe it or not they really do erase! The ease of use really made me feel efficient. Ordered all 4 colors.

With large "all-over" projects, I keep tract of which color I'm working on. Or, where I've left off on the graph. They do not erase well when the ink is still wet--wait 20 seconds or so.

They help with the complicated or large patterns. They also make it easier to find your place on the pattern after taking a break from your project. The don't bleed thru the paper either.
from United States on 07/17/2016 - Love it! I like to mark off the stitches on my pattern as I work. With this highlighter I can do that and erase it if I make a mistake. The pink is light enough that I can still see the symbol I have worked and that helps me to follow the pattern correctly. It is fast drying and doesn't make the paper soggy. Great idea!
from United States on 02/01/2016 - Love these! I love these highlighters. I bought 1 about 6 years ago and am just now having to replace it. It uses heat to erase the ink rather than an abrasive like regular erasers. You do have to press hardER than a regular eraser which is why people may be having trouble because the greater the pressure, the greater the heat. I will continue buying these highlighters!

I tried several times and it just would not erase. I have been using it about 2 weeks and I can tell it is already running out of ink. I won't be ordering another one!

Yes it does erase and it highlights just as well. I highly recommend this highlighter, it comes in very handy for a stitcher.

Take my word for it, it really does erase the highlighting. I have one, but will be getting several more when I make my next purchase from 123. I urge you to buy one, you will be satisfied, I promise.
from United States on 05/03/2014 - Great Tool Love this pen for cross stitch. It covers well yet is see through so I can still see where I need to back stitch. Erasable is super. If I need to undo stitching I can erase what I've marked off on my pattern. Makes it so easy to keep track of where I am on the pattern.

This is about the fourth one I've ordered because I keep bragging about them to my cross-stitching friends, and then I usually end up giving them mine so they can fall in love with it too, and they always do! It highlights with just the right amount of ink so as not to make it hard to see through it, and it erases well too, which is sometimes hard to find in some "erasable" products. I swear by it, and I cannot do my cross-stitching without it. Thanks for a great product!
