Unfortunately, the individual who received this kit as gift, didn't believe it was necessary. She didn't feel that using a hoop would be a problem, even though the instructions specifically warn against this. As a result the loosely woven stitching fabric was pulled away from the regular pillow fabric. I'm not sure how to fix this for her to make it look good, but I'm going to try. Those instructions are there for a reason, so please don't make the same mistake she did!
