from United States on 10/28/2017 - Fun Design and Easy to Make Chose this design to make a new stocking for my adult son, whose stocking from 1985 is wearing out. Received mid-October and have been working on it 2-3 hours every day, So far, its been a lot of fun easy-to-read chart, lots of colors, seems to have enough floss to complete. I have had issues with Dimensions not having enough floss to complete items and they only use their own floss colors so that you cant buy anything to fill in. I like that a large chunk of the design is only half-stitch, so I should be able to get it done by Christmas. This design should be easy enough for people new to cross-stitching since there are no quarter-stitches, but it looks nice enough so that anyone seeing it would not think that it is a beginner kit. My one drawback with this kit is looking ahead at how they tell you to finish the stocking - it seems unnecessarily complicated. I wont know until I get done, of course, but just reading ahead looks very difficult in following their directions. That is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars. Overall, an extremely nice kit!

I may not have picked a very easy pattern, but the ease of use encompassed by this is is making up for my lack of skill. I love how the thread is organized and how easy to read the pattern is. The symbols are huge making it even better. I can't wait to finish it and start a new kit by the Sam company!
