Also, the fabric included is smaller than I would use if buying fabric separately. Ive stitched for 50 years and will have some difficulty completing this project. This kit should be listed as for experienced stitchers only.
from United States on 01/09/2016 - A Beautiful Stocking This was undoubtedly the hardest project I have ever done but also the most beautiful. The detail in it is amazing. However, my biggest criticism would be of the chart. It was very difficult to read. The light green color in the key was very hard to see. When two different stitches were right beside each other in that color it was very hard to tell a difference between them such as when a "C" and an "O" were side by side. It would have been much better to have more different and darker colors in the key and use symbols that weren't so much alike. Also the outline done in the light green again was very hard to see. I ended up having to go over all the light green with a pencil in order for me to tell where the outlines went. That's the reason I could not give this a 5 star rating. Also for this labor intensive project I would never use felt as the backing. I bought some material to use on the back instead.

Just finished another kit, only complaint I have with it was not enough cotton thread. I had to call multiple times to get multiple replacement threads. First time this has happened in 30 years of working on Dimension kits.Customer service good and the thread requested was replaced.

from United States on 02/13/2015 - Cross stitch stocking review I have not had the opportunity to begin the project so I can only tell you that I have opened the kit and the fabric is very nice, the thread set-up is great and the pattern should be easy to follow..... I am excited to begin but have a quilting project to finish first..... Thank you for your quick response to my order........
