Anyone who knows me knows that not only do I love history, but I love the General's history in particular! This design was really fun for me because my favorite color is pink (it's such a happy color!), and the idea of George presenting Martha with a bouquet of heart balloons seemed charming. She's giving him her heart in return (as seen in the palm of her hand).

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct Overcast by Cedar River Linen with Weeks Dye Works, Gentle Arts, Classic Colorworks, and DMC floss. The stitch count is 154w x 99h and the finished size is 8.5" x 5.5".
