I'm an experienced stitcher and have stitched these Santas for years. Very disappointed with this design. The problem was with using the Light Effects Flourescent. This thread is very hard to work with and was particularly hard to use in small, widely separated areas. I was never able to make them look right. Hopefully the designer will not use this thread again.

I have collected the Prairie Schooler Santas from the beginning (1984) but have misplaced a few in the intervening years. I have relied on 123Stitch.com to fill in the gaps, as well as supplying the current years' pattern. The Santas are a fast and easy project. I particularly enjoy the color selections.
123Stitch.com has everything a stitcher might need, and I have ordered other items, as well. Whatever I order is quickly received and in great condition. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I started doing these Santa’s in 1984 so I have quite a collection which are displayed at Christmas time. Looking forward ever year to doing a new one, keep them coming.

Many many of us love and stich the Prairie Schooler Santas and look forward to seeing what the New Year will bring. However this year there is an obvious flaw in the design. Penquins do not live in the Artic but in the South Pole. I am changing mine to reflec that. I will continue to support this designer and look forward to many more years of Santas to stitch.
