Facing the Sun is a cross stitch design based on Robin's "Towards the Sun" quilt pattern. A modern representation of flowers reach on tall stalks up to the sky in circular blooms. This mod garden is a play of color and negative/positive space within the blooms. Some flowers have simple linear details while others are solid or sport a band of accent color.
Stitched on 25 Count Lugana using Cosmo or DMC threads. Stitch count is 80 x 125. Finished size is 6.5 x 10 for 25 count Lugana.
