Note from the designer: This piece was inspired by my husband Darren's childhood trips to visit his Uncle Dean in Michigan. Based upon current photographs and my husband's guidance, we collaborated to preserve the architectural elements of his family's barn. Not only a tribute to childhood nostalgia, the barn stands as a symbol of American pride for a town that once thrived in the late 1800's. The barn still stands to this day. A news article from 2017 is included.

Pattern is stitched on 18 ct Aida Fabrics using Romy's Creations with Cosmo and DMC floss. Stitch count is 326 x 130. Finished size is 18.11 in wide X 7.22 in high.
