Vintage Love pays homage to the yesteryears of young love.
The undeniable nostalgia of innocence, naivety, and idealism
is deeply woven into the lyrics "The Maker said take her and
love her forever, take care of her for life." This line draws
from the song my husband chose to play me when we first
met, calling it our song. I wanted to design a piece
sentimental to those early days of new love but still replicated
to this day everytime I hear that song. The cherished moment
depicted in this chart is meant to be customizable for
everyone to include their significant others initials and share
their love story.
Pattern is stitched on 18 ct Aida using DMC, Classic Colorworks, and Weeks Dye Works threads with full DMC conversion (No conversion for Classic Colorworks Used Brick listed). Stitch count is 123 x 195.
