Models are stitched on 28 count Flax using Cosmo threads or DMC floss. Stitch counts are 120 x 60 for Rooster and 100 x 50 for Hens. Finished size is 8.57 in wide X 4.29 in high and 7.14 in wide X 3.57 in high.

I don't usually stitch on 28 count linen any more with two strands of thread. I am with these chickens because I want them to be a certain size and the pattern calls for 28 count. The colors are so bright and happy - very different from what I usually stitch!
