from United States on 02/26/2019 - Perfect for any Beach-Themed Room I love this banner, the colors in the various motifs just pop against the black lettering. Fair warning, be very careful when counting, especially if you grid your fabric. The grid lines on the chart aren't numbered, and I thought I'd start with the flamingo and letter D in the center of the design, but later decided to change things and stitch from the top down. After stitching the P and A, the palm tree, red flower and sailboat, I didn't have enough room to fit both the R and second A above the already-stitched flamingo and letter D. I discovered that when counting out my grid lines, I'd skipped an entire page in the booklet. With almost 1/3 of the design stitched, I decided it was too much to frog and to just start over again, maybe in a few months, when I won't cry just looking at it. But it truly is a lovely pattern, and the beachy motifs are a lot of fun.
