This one was inspired by the idea of a woven crown of daisies. It's a fairly quick stitch, and I've combined many different types of flower designs (because there are so many wonderful varieties of daisies) into an abundance of floral fun.
The model is stitched on 40 count linen. This is a lovely blue/green fabric that sets off the white flowers and the closest DMC equivalent is 523/524. Stitch count for the top and base is 122 x 122 each (244 x 122 total, plus an allowance for space between the top and base) and the model is stitched with one strand of thread over two strands of linen. Finished size is 6.1" x 6.1" and 12.2" x 6.1" total.

The model was stitched on 18 Ct. Simply Sage Aida from Fabrics by Stephanie with Weeks Dye Works and DMC floss.
