Note from the designer: This piece celebrates the joy of visiting the shore. Inspired by Happy Campers, this design has a whole new cast of characters enjoying their outing to the sea. The border keeps things interesting with lots of different motifs. Instead of a building in the lower panel, I've included a vintage style ferry boat laden with a variety of animal passengers. And they can enjoy a whole range of seaside activities, including visiting a tidepool and lounging in the sand.
The model is stitched on 40 count "Cyprus" linen from Fiber On A Whim, using DMC, Weeks Dye Works, Gentle Arts, and Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch count is 221 x 191. Finished size is 11.05" X 9.55".
