This pattern really caught my eye the first time I saw it. I have a huge button collection that is going to make finishing this piece so much fun! While it seems to be Christmas themed, I think you could keep this piece out all year round.

I love The Drawn Thread patterns. This design is especially pretty, and it was fast to stitch. Within 4 days of working on it here and there it was finished. I am not the fastest cross stitcher.. I used buttons from my stash, which turned out very well. In one place, the pattern says to use buttons between 1/4 and 3/4 of an inch, and in another it says use 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" buttons. If you use the suggested 32 count fabric as I did, I recommend using the smaller range of button size to fit the design nicely. This will make a great Christmas gift for a friend. My husband liked it so much he wants me to make one for us to keep!

Some friends call me The Button Ladycould be worse. I have mounds of mostly antique and vintage buttons and I make jewelry out of them,but more recently found a few pillow patterns and this x-stitch to showcase them. I love this pattern and it works up VERY FAST WITH GREAT RESULTS.
