from United States on 08/02/2023 - Can't Wait to Start Stitching This pattern really caught my eye the first time I saw it. I have a huge button collection that is going to make finishing this piece so much fun! While it seems to be Christmas themed, I think you could keep this piece out all year round.

from United States on 11/16/2017 - Simple and Elegant Christmas Pattern I love The Drawn Thread patterns. This design is especially pretty, and it was fast to stitch. Within 4 days of working on it here and there it was finished. I am not the fastest cross stitcher.. I used buttons from my stash, which turned out very well. In one place, the pattern says to use buttons between 1/4 and 3/4 of an inch, and in another it says use 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" buttons. If you use the suggested 32 count fabric as I did, I recommend using the smaller range of button size to fit the design nicely. This will make a great Christmas gift for a friend. My husband liked it so much he wants me to make one for us to keep!

from United States on 02/20/2016 - Great pattern for gifts! This is a simple pattern that is quick and easy to stitch. Also there seem to be many ways to alter the pattern add birds, change the animals at the bottom, use different colors and types of buttons, etc. to create many unique gifts pictures, pillows, etc for the holidays. Love it!

I have mounds of mostly antique and vintage buttons and I make jewelry out of them, but more recently found a few pillow patterns and this x-stitch to showcase them.
