This is the first time I have used Gentle Arts sampler threads--am a sampler maker of 30 years. The thread is beautifully colored but is somewhat "furry"--if you rip out or take out knots, the thread separates much more easily than cotton DMC. Also because it is hand dyed, there are variations in the color of a single thread--subtle, and offers a real antique look. Overall it has a very different "hand" than DMC and am glad I used it.

My go to color for leaves. Nice variation within the skein. 123 stitch is a great place to purchase all your cross stitching needs. Customer service is very helpful and friendly.

It seems that no matter what project or color of fabric, this green is a winner! The color is richbut not too dark with beautiful color variegation that lends itself well when working on any project that needs a mid-tone green. Very pleased!

I enjoy working with The Gentle Art Sampler Threads because of the different shades of color in each strand of thread. The endive will go well in patterns needing subtle color changes.
