I would definitely look at using Valdani fibers in my future projects. I’m glad I went with the recommended fibers on the pattern I was stitching.

However, it is not as strong as weeks dye works I had to unpick some stitches and couldn't reuse the length - and weeks does better. But overall, it is worth the price -- I just have to be more careful of my count or use shorter lengths. It is lovely and a good alternative to weeks dyed threads although I do love Weeks as well.

from United States on 02/16/2016 - well worth the cost When I first glimpsed this skein of floss, I could not see much more than the olive green. Hesitantly, I started stitching on Friendship is a Sheltering Tree pattern and so so pleased that the browns and all variegation of colors started magically appearing. It is my preference to only stitch on Aida and only using ONE strand of floss...I like to be able to see the individual x's. So I did find that when using only ONE strand, sometimes the floss would break after awhile. I'm certain if I'd followed instructions to use TWO strands, there would not have been the breaking. I love this brand and will buy it again, here!
