Love the colors but it knots on the back after almost every stitch! Have to use thread wax which helps but still knots! So frustrating!

Valdani thread comes in 1 1/2" x 1" balls in this thread pack. So it can be disconcerting to receive all the thread you need for your project in a little 4"x 4" box. I like the colors of the stitched model for Autumm Quakers and hopefully this set will help me duplicate it. (I separate the threads and use 2 strands over 2 threads of 28 count linen.)

The threads for Quaker autumn are very pretty worked up, but l separated floss beacause when used from the spool , the threads caused the fabric to clump up,I think the thread tend to knot up when being stitched thru linen.i am planning to do all 4 Quaker seasons and i will deal with these valdani threads albeit

The colors did create some very pretty variations but these threads were very fragile and constantly broke on me which made the experience very frustrating. I wouldn't use them again.

I had no idea just how much fun it would be stitching with these threads! Absolutely love how the threads are verigated. I also love how I don't have to separate strands in order to stitch. Great quality. Just wish they weren't so darn expensive!!

The subtle color variations no striping and the three strands are so beautiful and dramatic. I love stitching with them, no knotting or tangling, such a pleasure. Plus guaranteed colorfast--I will be using more of the Valdanis!
