quick shipping, great pattern, easy to follow. but the material was of poor quality and not enough floss for some of the colors. Of course, Vervaco does not give DMC codes so I had to dig through my stash to find the closest color. Otherwise I love the pattern. Would have preferred to just buy the pattern and not the whole kit.

from United States on 09/02/2014 - Love the pattern, but where's the DMC numbers?
I'm really excited to start stitching this birth announcement. Was disappointed when I opened the pattern to see it was DMC but there was no listing of the floss numbers, just the color names in many different languages. Also, the names of the floss do not match up to DMC colors. I never use the floss that comes with the kit, I prefer to use my own DMC floss. I guess if you use the floss provided in the kit this would not be an issue. Other than that, I am totally satisfied with this pattern and can't wait to have it finished and for the baby to arrive. We don't know the sex of the baby and if it's a girl we are going to add a bow to the cow's tail and maybe change the saddle on the horse to girly it up too.
