It gives a more subtle appearance to the fine stitching on applique than some of the heavier fibers like pearl cotton.

This was the first time I use weeks dye works floss. I do like it however, I expected it to have a little more sheen to it, not a lot more just a little bit. After hearing so many people say it’s more brilliant then DMC and makes your stitching stand out.
