It is also works great for punch needle (1, 3 and 6 strand) and stitching on wool applique and penny rugs. It gives a more subtle appearance to the fine stitching on applique than some of the heavier fibers like pearl cotton.

from United States on 04/08/2015 - BEST OVERDYED FLOSS! Not a lot of variation here. This is a white, but you could substitute DMC White for less cost. Not any other DMC whites because the regular DMC white is softer than the others. This is indeed a soft b white, not bright. Totally colorfast.
