Hand Over-Dyed Floss, Sold in 5 yard Skeins. The colors are variegated enough to be noticeable, yet subtle enough to blend naturally. Because it is pliable, this fiber is perfect for cross stitch and needlepoint on many different counts of fabric and canvas. It is also works great for punch needle (1, 3 and 6 strand) and stitching on wool applique and penny rugs. It gives a more subtle appearance to the fine stitching on applique than some of the heavier fibers like pearl cotton.

Great white color for my Winter White pattern I bought it for.

there isn't enough variegation in this thread to make worth the cost unless using for a larger area of stitching where the variegation will be more noticable. it is a very nice thread to work with though and stitches up nicely.

Very subtle on the color changes. Pretty if you have a large section of white like snow or a ghost, but use intentionally to make it worth the cost.

I love this shade. It's a brighter white with a little bit of cream going through it but not too much. I just ordered 3 more for a pattern I changed my mind on when I received this in the mail. I love 123Stitch! Always helpful and shipping is fast!

I have purchased quite a lot of this over-dyed floss in various colors, I love the fact that the variegated color is very subtle, love using it on samplers and for general embroidery.

Not a lot of variation here. This is a white, but you could substitute DMC White for less cost. Not any other DMC whites because the regular DMC white is softer than the others. This is indeed a soft b white, not bright. Totally colorfast.
