Festive Ornaments, is a set of cross stitch patterns that can be made into a trio of festive decorations; 'Tree', 'Noel' & 'Year'. Two of the ornaments also have a design for the reverse.
There are Smyrna stitches (stitched over 6 threads) in the designs and several are stitched on the alternate thread, so they would not be suitable to be stitched on Aida.
I chose to finish the ornaments as pin cushions, with a beaded edge, using Mill Hill seed beads. The models were all stitched on 36ct 'Smokey Blue' by Zweigart using Weeks Dye Works and DMC threads, a full DMC conversion.
