I am half way done with this. I will say that sometimes it is hard to pull the needle through the holes. I have to be very careful using the thread as they really don't provide much extra. On the greens I have ended up with only about an inch or two of thread left over and I did not have to frog fix any other mistakes. The pattern is in color, but at times is difficult to read due to dark symbols against a dark background.

I love stitching on the wood, however I have never had a kit that was so stingy with floss. I am not done yet, but have already run out of one color. Every color that hasn't run out, I have only had a couple of inches left. Lucky to have plenty of my own stash to match up substitute colors. So I wouldn't recommend these kits for beginners or anyone that doesn't have plenty of floss to search for replacements.
