from United States on 04/08/2023 - Love These Scissors I would heartily recommend these to anyone! I got a pair of these a few years ago from Missouri Star Quilt Company (who no longer carries them), and they are my very favorite pair for applique and hand piecing, so I decided to buy some spares in case I lose my pair someday. I absolutely love how the blunt tip keeps the blades from accidentally cutting through fabric behind my applique pieces and from piercing through the sides of the little bags that I put sewing supplies into to take with me to work on during free time at work or on road trips. BUT the tip is still narrow enough that I can slip it under individual stitches to use as an impromptu "seam ripper" for small mistakes. It also cuts threads very cleanly for easy needle threading.
