It is made specifically for needlework and I have never had an issue with colored fabrics or threads bleeding or fading after washing. Very easy to use, rinses out easily, and NO PERFUMES OR DYES!

I am very glad it was in a separate plastic bag though as the lid came loose in the post and about 1/4 of the product was swimming in the plastic. If my charts had not also been sealed in a ziplock bag they would all have been ruined. Would suggest that the product lid be better sealed to prevent damage in transit.

Luckily someone had double bagged it so it didn't affect my other items. I did wash 2 projects with it already and I like it better than what I was using before.
