Break out the sunscreen and head to the garden! I brought in some flowers and garden plants, as well as a few animal companions to celebrate the joys of gardening. So far we haven't shared our lettuce with the rabbits, but I expect they'll find it one of these days.
Even a greenhouse needs pollinators! This piece was inspired by the idea of peering through the windows of an elaborate white-framed greenhouse. The finish offers a great opportunity for stitchers to build on their skills to create a new shape.
Continuing the Tudor Menagerie series, the Tudor Hound is racing in to your stash! This design features a greyhound (beloved by Tudor monarchs) surrounded by an elaborate border of spring flowers.

Inspiration for this design came from a vintage velvet tomato pincushion. Somehow that became two squirrels stitching under an acorn "bobbin" tree, an acorn basket and an acorn drum with the text "gather and stitch."

This is the latest of my "Tudor Menagerie" series. The ermine is perfect for winter, as it shows off its lovely snowy fur. I've chosen a border of twined winter greenery, pinecones and berries to complement the design.

This year, in particular, my heart does go out with longing for the spring, and renewal, and joy. So this design celebrate a favorite flower (lily of the valley), and a bird with a softly variegated border.

I love the deep colors of this design, which I do associate with autumn. And I took a bit of artistic license with the flamingo - juvenile flamingos are white and they've always felt a bit "spooky" to me. For this designer: The latest in the "Scrapbook" collection with Lindy Stitches, this features our household pets enjoying the holiday season! And although I've shown the bunny enjoying a carrot, I've learned that they think bananas are the ultimate treat.
Note from the designer: This piece was inspired by the idea of a vibrant still life, featuring a pottery vase in traditional Delftware colors, and some beautiful Rembrandt style tulips. The color scheme is fairly narrow, so it would be easy for stitchers to change to their favorite flower palette.
