Fall is such a fun time of year and it includes so many things I love. This is my fun take on the transition that happens as we move through the season. In designing this piece, I wanted something can stay up all the way thru Halloween.
Pattern is stitched on 46ct Topaz by Fiber on a Whim using Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works, and DMC threads. Stitch Count 375 x 100.
Christmas is my favorite time of year! Especially singing and playing carols. While this isn't really a Christmas carol, it is one of those songs I look forward to playing throughout the holiday season.

It's that time of the year! The leaves are changing, the pumpkins are ready, and the earth is preparing for its long winter nap. The crisp air and wonderful smells of the season remind us that there is much to be thankful for.

This design is called "Happiness" and it weirdly/oddly/strangely/a little bit is a self portrait. Feeding all the wild animals in my back yard brings me such joy. And while I don't have squirrels climbing up my skirts, they are starting to recognize me when I'm outside feeding them!

The story goes that Cockayne is a land of plenty where hard times didn't exist. It was a fictional utopia, a parody of Paradise where idleness and gluttony were the name of the game. Houses were made of barley sugar and cakes, the streets were paved with pastry and everything in the shops was free.
