Uncle Sam's Parade is a patriotic design that can either be stitched alone or as a companion piece to Haven of Liberty, a sampler celebrating the Semiquincentennial. I love the historic figures marching with their farm animals.

Stitched on 32 ct. Raw Flax by Zweigart using DMC floss. With a stitch count of 150 x 54 and the finished size is 10.71" x 3.86".

Stitched on 36 ct Saltbush by Fox and Rabbit using Weeks Dye Works, DMC, and Gentle Arts floss. With a stitch count of 88 x 89 and a finished size of 6.29" x 6.36".

This fun patriotic pattern features the words, "America, Liberty, Freedom, Justice" with two brown bears waving American flags.

Stitched on 32 ct. Lugana Ancient by Picture This Plus using DMC and Weeks Dye Works floss with a stitch count of 114 x 70 and a finished size of 8.14" x 5".

Memorial Day was established on May 30, 1868 following the Civil War to honor fallen soldiers. It later evolved after World War I to honor all American military service members who died in war.
