August Cross Stitch

These two pretty goldfinches grace us with their golden glimmer for the month of August as we say goodbye to the last days of summer.

Pattern is stitched on 32 ct. Mojito Smoothie linen by Grace Notes with DMC floss. The stitch count is 119 x 71 and the finished size is 7.4" x 4.4".

August Peridot Fairy has luminous butterfly wings that radiate cool shades of aquamarine and grass green. Her shiny black gown is cinched with a rose sash and highlighted with a lavender glow. Long black tendrils flow about her as she moves to cast her mysterious spell.
