The sample stitch piece was finished as a crafty framed piece using fabric, giant rick rack, ribbon, a button and a raw wood frame.

The Scottie August Dog cross stitch design is part of the Dog Days Series by Happiness Is HeartMade. This month's design has Scottie Dog, a Scottish Terrier, enjoying a slice of summer watermelon on a picnic table. The design also includes a picnic basket, ladybugs, hearts, and flowers.
