Model stitched on 40 count Hawthorne by Needle and Flax using DMC and Cottage Garden threads. Cottage Garden Threads not listed (Gilt, Leather Bound, Mahogany, and Fireplace). Stitch count: 243w x 205h.
Stitched on your choice of fabric using DMC, Gentle Art, Threadworx, Classic Colorworks, and Weeks Dye Works threads.
Stitch count is 179w X 129h. Finished size on 32 count: 16 x 13.
Note: DMC 437 can be used instead of Thrteadworx Sunset.
This sweet little Pinkeep was inspired by my flock of chickens here on our farm. And their love of treats and pumpkins.
The model was stitched over 2 threads on 36 ct Broomgrass linen by Needle Bling with Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitch Count 159 wide by 106 high. Finished Size is 8.83 in wide X 5.89 in high.
For this design I was thinking of cool walks on the beach and a chance to enjoy autumn at the shore. The design was inspired by postcards, and are even finished that way. I loved this classic fall design so much that I asked my model stitcher to stitch it in two different colors! The front cover photo (above) is the model in rust using Belle Soie Silk Floss, while the back cover model (below) is a deep dark chocolate color using Threadworx.
