The inspiration for these four little biscornus was a piece of cotton fabric that was being used to make a project bag. I loved the geometric design and bold color scheme and knew I needed to create a cross stitch pattern from it.
Model stitched on 32 ct Christmas Red Belfast linen and Black Belfast linen using DMC threads. Stitch count: each biscornu is 39 x 39.
Hand-dyed items vary a bit from batch to batch. Dependent on dye, water, base product, temperature, drying process. It's thick, fluffy, and perfect for edgings on pincushions and other stitched pieces - it fills in the gaps and is very easy to use.
Use the strong magnet to keep your chart in place, and give your needle a rest while between colors or taking a break! These little cuties have a smooth top and a silver tone accent around the edges. Measure 3/4" in diameter.
