Many antique sampler motifs have been used in this charming little stocking featuring a red house, borders, trees and reindeer.

Pattern is stitched on either 36 ct Flax over 2 threads or 25 ct flax over one thread. Stitch Count: 73 W x 78 H. Finished size: 4.05 x 4.3 over 2 threads and 2.9 x 3.2 over one thread.

There are two designs in this series and they remind me of clear glass ornaments used to decorate our Christmas trees. Petite white beads are used in the background for the snowflakes.

Snowman are always a popular motif!

Model stitched on 36 ct. linen with DMC floss and Mill Hill Beads. Stitch count is 61 x 67. Finished size is 3.4" x 3.7"

Model stitched over two on 32 Ct. Polka dot linen by Fabric Flair or over one on 32 Ct. Flax Belfast linen. Either are stitched using Classic Colorworks and Gentle Arts Sampler threads. Stitch count 53x107. Finished size: 10 x 13 (over 1) and 8 x 8 (over 2).

Model stitched on 32 Ct. Latte Belfast linen over two using Classic Colorworks, Gentle Arts, Weeks Dye Works and DMC. Stitch count 46 x 69. Finished size: 2.9 x 4.3.
