Christmas is my favorite time of year! Especially singing and playing carols. While this isn't really a Christmas carol, it is one of those songs I look forward to playing throughout the holiday season.

You know how much I like diagonals. It was inevitable this would happen someday. This actually started as a stocking, but I figured there would be those who didn't care about stockings but wanted to stitch it as a sampler, so I took the liberty of getting ahead of the request. :)
Model can be stitched on 14 or 28 count fabric of your choice (originally on 28 ct Cracked Ice Lugana from Polstitches) using DMC floss. Stitch count is 176W x 135H.

This year Matilda is dressed up as a Nutcracker. Inspired from my childhood Christmas Eve memories where my sister and I danced to the Nutcracker Suite at my grandparents' home.
